Kevin Hayes Architects has been responsible for numerous residential projects from coastal resorts through to large mixed use and commercial developments. They have been involved in major refurbishments and adaptations of commercial and industrial buildings and large master planning projects. The practice still retains a dedication to designing private homes, individually crafted with attention to personalised detailing. Their myriad projects include; Cloudland Nightclub, Limes Hotel, Bunk Backpackers, The McWhirters Revival, The Met Nightclub, Linear Auchenflower, The Sun Apartments, East on Byron Resort and Vita Place on Hudson Road.
This architectural and town planning practice is located in their own building in Fortitude Valley and has been honoured with numerous local, national and international awards, has been published widely both locally and overseas.
Kevin Hayes, Gerard Lynch and Elizabeth Anderson are the directors and owners of Kevin Hayes Architects. Elizabeth Anderson has been responsible for the town planning and architectural design of Mountview Residences. Elizabeth endeavours to push the boundaries through cutting edge design, environmentally sustainable initiatives, advanced BIM computer modelling and socially responsive planning. Elizabeth has been the recipient of numerous personal and practice awards, including the recent Urban Development Institute of Australia’s 2009 Development Excellence Awards for Outstanding Achievement by a Woman in Professional and Development Services.
